You can choose your preferred shipping date when you order your eggs or birds. We understand that receiving your birds promptly and safely is essential, so we want to give you an idea of what happens during shipping.
To ensure your birds’ safety and optimal health, we take several precautions during shipping. For eggs, we carefully package them in sturdy, insulated boxes with padding to protect them during transit. We also include an ice pack during warmer months to ensure that the eggs remain at the appropriate temperature.

For birds, we carefully package them in specially designed boxes with ventilation holes to ensure that they have enough oxygen and are not exposed to extreme temperatures. We also include a heat pack in the package during colder months to keep your birds warm during transit.
Once your birds or eggs are packaged, we ship them via USPS Priority Mail. This service provides quick and efficient delivery and allows us to track your package and ensure it arrives on time. We also provide a tracking number to follow your birds’ journey to your doorstep.
We understand that shipping birds can be stressful, but rest assured that your birds’ safety and well-being are our top priority. We take every precaution to ensure that your birds arrive healthy and ready to thrive in their new home. To ensure this, we add 4% of birds to every order. For example, if you order 100 chicks, we’ll ship 104 to compensate for any losses that may occur during shipping. That way, you are more likely to receive the number of healthy birds you’re counting on.

How Much Does it Cost to Ship birds?

We will ship birds anywhere, plus Hawaii. How much you’ll pay for shipping depends on how many birds you order and where they’re going. Unlike some hatcheries, we don’t include shipping in the cost of our chicks—so you don’t pay more than you have to.

For your convenience, we also offer Drop Shipment orders for hatcheries. Plus, we can ship Overnight Express at your request for an additional charge. Please note that shipping prices are subject to change at any time without notice.
